Live Music Summer
New York is one of the best places to be for live music. This is especially true in the summer, when there are several free, outdoor shows. Here are some of the better pictures I have taken at shows thus far this summer.
Bill Callahan (smog) @ Music Hall of Williamsburg (Northside Fest)
The Dodos @ Studio B (Northside Fest)
Dr. Dog @ Prospect Park
Real Estate @ Bowery Ballroom
Japandroids @ Coney Island (Siren Fest)
Frightened Rabbit @ Coney Island (Siren Fest)
Built to Spill @ Coney Island (Siren Fest)

St. Vincent Cemetery Gates
Pitchfork.tv has a great live series called Cemetery Gates, which is recorded in a Cathedral. Here is one of my favorite performances from the series, St. Vincent's "Marrow". I love that whammy bar.
Fall on Your Sword
Captain Kirk has taken way too much acid and needs to get back to his ship, and his crew is too stoned to help. Dang.
